The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) Colorectal Cancer Control Program (CRCCP) helps states and tribes across the U.S. increase colorectal cancer screening rates among men and women aged 50 years and older. Funds awarded by the CRCCP are used by states to promote colorectal cancer screening. Through this program, six states also provide direct colorectal cancer screening and follow-up services to people who meet specific criteria. Those states are: Delaware, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, and Washington. Other programs that do not offer screening services may refer to local resources for those seeking screening.
