Be sure to ask your doctor or health care team for suggestions.

Ask to meet with a social worker.

Local hospitals, health departments, and social services agencies are most familiar with services available in communities and may know of more resources.

If you are having difficulty paying medical bills, be sure to contact the business office of the hospital or clinic providing service.
